Cat distressed by little dust particles In the air.

My cat has spent the last hour meowing and chasing things in the air. She is getting stressed by it.

I've had to shut my blinds and curtain at the door to give her some peace.

I first thought she wanted to go out, she is a house cat but I'm happy to change that for her. I opened the door and she bolted to her hiding place and I also left a window open for her but she didn't even attempt to go out. She hates the noise from outside.

I set up a camera and noticed that she is reacting to the dust particles getting caught in the suns rays and also flies through the window.

Is this normal and am I just worrying too much or is there something I can do to help her. I have just cleaned my house and it's not dusty. She looks on edge and ready to pounce.

In my experience cats are either asleep or on edge ready to pounce, usually at nothing. Sounds normal to me. Probably not distressed, just being a cat.

@MyOtherProfile She is my first cat so I'm glad to hear it's normal.

They might be orbs Shock

I'd let her out if she wants to get used to it.
