Someone has taken my cat

I leave her in communal (very small) garden a lot as she likes it.

She can't open the door to the street or the door to our flat by herself. So that means someone came in and has taken her early this morning (I discovered at 9.30am).

I've texted local police officer to say tell me if any news but don't know what to do :(

If you’re not on Facebook, get yourself setup and join your local lost and found pets, they are brilliant for this kind of thing.

Silvercatowner · 24/06/2018 18:10

I second the FB thing. Poor you and poor cat. Everything is crossed that she comes home.

SneakyGremlins · 24/06/2018 18:13

Oh Languid Sad

You're sure she hasn't slipped into a neighbour's house or garage if someone opened the way out?

Want2beme · 24/06/2018 19:31

Keeping everything crossed that she comes backFlowers

Oh bloody cat, I did notice that she sniffed slightly at an ajar window at the house next to our flats. He wrote down his number before he left (he's bought a new house and this one is on the market) but he's quite friendly and I thought he wouldn't mind so as a last ditch attempt I clamboured through and there she was.

I'll have to phone his estate agents tomorrow and let them know window open etc. Still can't find his number! So greedy little thing is hogging a 2 bed house to herself. She's indoors from now on.

Oh that’s quite cute do you think she would’ve been able to get out again? I still can’t picture your layout can you not still let her out and leave your back door open? You must be so relieved did you have a check that she hadn’t left any presents for the estate agent? Smile

SneakyGremlins · 24/06/2018 20:00

Oh thank FUCK!! Grin

Want2beme · 24/06/2018 20:11

Phew. I was feeling really sad for you. Cats sooo such nosey Grin

HeGotManFlu · 24/06/2018 20:35

Naughty puss, is she safely back home with you now, no more nights nosing around the neighbourhoodSmile

LanguidLobster · 24/06/2018 20:37

Err... Each there was a 'present'. I've cleaned up the matter but will need to strap on marigolds and go round tomorrow and clean/disinfect - before I phone anyone, natch! I wish I could find the homeowner's number, he left it in my letterbox before he moved.

Little devil, can't believe she did that. I honestly thought she was gone forever.

I'll try to do a diagram later, it's a complicated layout.

Ah will you have to climb through the window again?? Do you think she would’ve got bored and come home eventually? I bet she’s acting like nothings happened.

SneakyGremlins · 24/06/2018 21:23

She wasn't missing. She was just off exploring. In her mind anyway Grin

MrsCatE · 24/06/2018 21:41

Thank f**k for the happy ending!
