The surfaces issue never occurred to me or Mr C. Each to their own

Siamese have a strange relationship with 'surfaces'. If you forbid them from kitchen surfaces, they .....extrapolate that injunction in some way. I've not worked out the factor yet.

Mr C just jumps up. He has a good look around then motions me to give him a lift him back down when he is ready. I pretend I haven't noticed until that point, so dignity is maintained all round.

Hah! At cozietowers you get up under your own steam, you have to get down the same way........

(I'll admit to making an exception for Seniorboy when he got up on top of the door at age 17 or so. But he was panicking.....)
