Unused feline prescription medicine

Hi all, do you know if cat charities accept unused medicine? Or do I have to destroy it?

Phone them up & ask?
I know a cat breeder who would have it.

Doesn't hurt to ask. I had some insulin left after our old girl was PTS which I bought online. Our vet passed it on to another client who was struggling with the cost of a diabetic cat.
