My boy’s gone

Hit by a car this afternoon. Thank you to the kind people who took him to the vets.

The softest, most affectionate, most beautiful boy. I can’t believe it.

I am so sorry.

So sorry to hear about your lovely boy - you've had an awful shock. I know he's had a short life but try and hold onto the fact he had a great life in a much loved home. Allow yourself to grieve, the first couple of days will be the worst, then slowly you'll start to remember and treasure your memories.

Libby can't say anything other than what has already been said but so sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful, incredibly loved darling cat.

So sorry, he was a lovely looking cat. I lost my boy last month the same way, one week before his 1st birthday. It was, and still is, heartbreaking.

So sorry. He was gorgeous and obviously very loved. Just let yourself cry and watch the videos of him. As with everything, time is the only thing that helps. He would have known how adored he was.

Oh Flurken, I’m so so sorry for your loss. It’s devastating. I’m sure your boy was as loved and happy as mine.

Oh op I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a stunning boy.

I'm so sorry, Libby - he was such a beautiful boy and far too young. We lost our gorgeous 4 year old male cat in a horrible accident 6 months ago, and the children and I have found some comfort in having some photos of him around the house. I was quite overwhelmed by the depth of grief I felt, so please be very kind to yourself and know that however you are feeling, it is normal and understandable. Wishing you peace and strength.

It does get easier but it still hurts :( I still shed a tear my little man he was a young kitten living on the streets when we got him, he was our first cat and even the lady who had him said she hasn't met a cat like him before, he was cheeky but a real tough guy too, we only had him for a year and a half before he was put to sleep as he had licked anti freeze :( I have got a bit upset writing this, it helps me to think he is still around and in the house with us, I do wonder what he makes of our new cat though

Found a random feather in the middle of the floor earlier, if he sent it to make me feel better it just made me sob again.
