Cats be big trained to use the toilet

Hi

I've seen a lot of stuff on the internet about training cats to use the toilet.

Has anyone actually managed to accomplish this or is it one big con?

Also mine are litter tray trained, would this make a difference?

It is possible but not advised as good practice. This is because cats need to be able to dig and cover their excrement, preventing them from doing so can cause stress. It also forces them to adopt an unnatural position while defecating. I wouldn't do it to my cat.
