Cat slapping his jaw shut 12 days post dental?

Normal?. It’s 2-3 times in a row & he’s trying to scratch it with his back leg.

He’s eating less but drinking, using his tray normally. He’s hunching up to sleep a lot but he’s just too quiet. He’s not playing.

His eyes were weepy for the first week but they’ve dried up again now.

Ask for a post-op check tomorrow, it sounds like he is in pain.

He has a sore gum. The top sets hitting the bottom so more painkillers and some antibiotics to help the process along.

Worst case, the top tooth has to come out too.

He’s nagging for food already! That loxicam is the business.
