A 'little'. He can still eat on request, I reckon. Smile

Ollivander84 · 17/05/2018 20:29

Oh he does. Dry food down 24/7 plus 1-4 pouches a day depending on appetite Blush

Weight loss is not something I or Mr C have had to worry much about, but cat milk goes down well if you want some extra cals.

Good news with the coil.

Ollivander84 · 17/05/2018 21:35

Might give him a try with some, not sure if he will like it but I can always take any up to the kittens who eat anything Grin

O is sat where the trampoline used to be SadConfused
Let's hope the new neighbours don't mind cats... he's not doing anything, just sat there Hmm

LanaorAna2 · 18/05/2018 10:00

He's claiming his territory.

Knowing your luck the new neighbours will be Mr and Mrs Out-all-day with their 15 pregnant cats Grin

Ollivander84 · 18/05/2018 10:12

Here he is sprinting in when I shouted him

It's Royal Wedding fever in, er, Tesco, no sign anywhere else in London at all. It is tomorrow isn't it?

Mr C looking forward to festivities, however, as I bought some Finest mince, reduced. Half of which is his, according to Royal Tradition.

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/05/2018 18:14

Definitely tomorrow. Cannot wait to see what the toffs are wearing. They wear the oddest outfits.

Northern girls on don’t tell the bride have looked better on a smaller budget.

Allergictoironing · 19/05/2018 07:47

Damn, shops will be a nightmare from silly o'clock this morning won't they Sad. I meant to get necessary shopping yesterday (prescriptions & milk most urgently) but got a work call & had to Do Stuff, and lost all impetus for going out. Down to under half a pint of milk, and running low on my favorite painkillers.

LanaorAna2 · 19/05/2018 09:25

Bad luck A, that won't do at all. Why not nip out about 11 when everyone is watching telly, the shops will be bliss and empty then.

On the day of Diana's funeral I went shopping in Covent Garden. Had the entire place to myself, lovely. She would have loved it, they used to shut Harrods for her.

Ollivander84 · 19/05/2018 09:41

I'm off to ride the horse which means yes, kitten taming Grin
I've left O looking sadly at his expensive organic grain free food. He wanted pork scratchings apparently

I was shocked - yes shocked - at the general shortage of people frenziedly shopping for Stuff for parties/barbecues/TV watching etc in Asda. Very light even for a normal Saturday morning.

They had Tuna in spring water on offer, so kitties will be spoilt this week. And crumpets for me, to be soused in butter & maple syrup, as a reward for, well, nothing really I just fancied them. And somehow my back feels better when i eat them, funny that any excuse ...

Weezol · 19/05/2018 11:07

I knew there was something important happening today - kittens update!
Also interested in how they are getting on with their training of The Groom.

Ollivander84 · 19/05/2018 16:03

Well I got to the stables and shouted "come here my little kittens" and then went to get my horse in. She is in a field up a big hill, it's a decent 5-10 min walk. Nearly tripped over to discover Miss Binge casually trotting up the hill alongside me, Fred following behind
They walked the whole way with me and back down before howling for food
Binge had some back and tail strokes, completely forgot herself and did that thing where they rub against your arm
She looked aghast Grin

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 19/05/2018 16:07

Well she rather forgot herself! Grin

Ollivander84 · 19/05/2018 16:13

Oh completely! It was when they rub their head and body against you for a stroke Shock

The sweetness of the royal couple! What was served at the breakfast?

Ollivander84 · 19/05/2018 20:05

I forgot to say the walk up the field is so long they had a rest halfway Grin
Breakfast was applaws chicken with pumpkin and some chicken dreamies to start

TheLongRider · 19/05/2018 20:06

That's a lovely image of you walking up a hill with two small tails waving behind you! What does the horse make of the kittens?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 19/05/2018 20:09

I'm wondering where Walt Disney was hiding with his movie camera ...

Ollivander84 · 19/05/2018 20:16

My horse just stands rock still doing HmmHmm face at them, almost eye rolling. The foals are very fascinated by them! Fred likes to dash around my horses legs until she glares at him, Binge is more peeping around a door

I've been doing my own version of cat taming. There's a lovely ginger and white boy who belongs in one of the end houses in our cul de sac. He's only a young fella, all gawky paws and hopefulness, about a year old.

My cats are allowed out at night and they lord it over the populace. Ginger boy, christened Nugget by my DD ( real name Archie) has been outside in the warm evenings we've had recently. He's been playing chasing with Greycat, hiding in hedges, chirruping and batting him, then running away and doing it again in another garden. They get on quite well. GreyCat could use a friend.

Last night I went out to fetch LongGirlCat in. Archie has been wary but interested in me. LongGirlCat was out on a wall watched by Archie. She's a bit vicious and tends to bully GreyCat. I was worried that she'd be mean to Archie, she spotted him and chased him with intent. He is a big innocent and thought she was just "playing". She meant business but she was flabbergasted to see that he wasn't worried. She came to a halt in front of him and he chirruped at her. LongGirlCat was bemused. I'm not sure if she'll keep trying to menace him or if he'll win her over. Archie is like a little kid watching the local cool.teenagers.

Archie then decided that I was quite nice really and proceeded to rub all around me and get me to stroke his tummy! His owner came out looking for him saw him.on the ground in front of me and said that Archie's usually afraid of strangers. Not likely once I've worked my magic.Grin
