Anyone used a pet transport company?

We are about to move house over a big distance.

We have 4 cats.

For various reasons, it would be really convenient for someone else to transport the cats so I can stay at the old house and DH can be at the new.

I can see there are companies who will do this.

Has anyone used one and would recommend them?

Should say this is a move within the UK, not international.

Have you thought about taking them to the new area and putting them into a cattery for a couple of days till you are settled in?

Yes, we’ve considered that, but it doesn’t work for various reasons
