So cat is elderly - we’ve had her for 15 years and cat rescue place thought she was 6 when we rehomed her so she’s no spring chicken!

She’s in good health. Eats well. Etc but now wees on kitchen floor whenever she feels like it

We have 2 litter trays (which she will use when she feels like it) but also have another cat so as soon as other cat uses the litter tray old cat won’t.

We’ve had the other cat for 5 years and they generally leave each other alone so don’t think its stress etc.

We all love our old cat. She Pre-dates marriage, house move and 2 children and is loving and seems happy

But the constant puddles of wee are just exasperating!

When we are at home we put her outside regularly but come home and get up every morning to puddles of wee all over the kitchen floor.

Any tips would be very much appreciated!

Get her to the vet, sounds like it could be a urinary tract infection, which isn’t nice and needs treatment ASAP.

Ok
She’s not incontinent though?
She can get in and out of the cat flap easily when we are watching her.
And if we put her outside she’ll toddle off and find somewhere to wee quite happily
So it seems that She’s deliberately wee-ing there ??

I'd definitely get her checked for UTI too. If she's not already diagnosed with kidney disease, at that age that's another definite possibility too.
