Harley doesn't sit on people often - unless you are dh, whom he loves - but if he does, he wants to be sitting on your chest, under your chin.

He and his sister are only 7 months old, so not fully grown yet and still q small. Goodness knows how they think they will fit when they are - although I imagine he will find a way.

Where do your Ddespots like to sit?

Anywhere they will fit. They used to do the under the chin thing when they were younger as well I think it's a kitten thing.

On me, on my head, on my back when I'm asleep on my front, on my front when I'm asleep on my back, next to me to dig for treasure in my hair, all around me when I'm clearly part of the marathon course at 3am.

My dear boy loves to cuddle and rub noses with me. Sleeps around my head and also when I was pregnant loved smooching up to my belly. Lovely thing is he's dd's biggest fan (apart from me )

Boycat demands that I go and sit next to him on his part of the sofa and rub his head & tummy while he snuggles up next to my leg. He won't sit on my lap, and though he lets me pick him up for a cuddle (using my rather ample chest as a seat) he suddenly panics after a few minutes & flies off. At bed time, I have to lie ON the bed with my head by the foot end & snuggle up next to him for cuddles.

Girlcat doesn't do cuddles; occasionally I'm permitted to stroke her head or her belly but not get my body too close.

One of mine does the head bump thing which I love, she's gorgeous and my super cat after she survived a leg and toe amputation but I really love it at 2pm, at 2am I'm not so keen.
My wee tortie miaows over and over again until, I look out of the window with her, whyyyyyy?

The young boy cat sits on the sink when you're on the toilet and constantly taps you on the shoulder until you head bump him. Grumpy old twat cat sits between dh and me, like a chastity cat. If we forget about him,he will sneak upstairs and sleep o. My head.

Haha, my Maine coon stupid giant likes to sit on my knee when Im on the loo. That's interesting.
My smallest, little black one adores watching jewellery channel on Sky, yes really, she's completely transfixed by it.

Boy is very furry and gets hot easily, so he likes to lie by your side and just make contact by resting a paw on your arm. He likes to sit between me and DS and when one of us leaves the sofa he sprawls into the vacant area. DS has become adept at swiftly blocking this move by the insertion of a cushion. I genuinely think kitty just subsides when there's no one there to prop him up.

Snorg likes to snuggle next to me, but won't sit on me. I am informed if I'm not lying on the correct side for her liking. Fatty will sit on me and both have been known to plonk themselves on my head. I'm sure she's trying to kill me.

Bottom in my face facing outwards if he finds me lying down. Apparently it means that he fully trusts me not to attack him and he might even defend me. Doesn't make the mouth full of cat tail much more tolerable knowing that to be honest!

Snorg has also discovered the bathroom and has started to come in when I am having a pee. She gets really excited I. There.

Should, it's worse with long haired cats. You never know quite what is lurking in the fluffy bloomers.

The girl cat isn't so bothered about the bathroom,but you never know whether child or male cat is going to come in just as you sit down. If only any if them were any good at getting toilet roll.

Usually in the baby winding position, after going round and round for 5 minutes beforehand to get into optimum position!

One likes the to between my back and the sofa until she is removed and placated on my lap receiving major fuss.
My semi fluffy one doesn't do laps does like to stick her tail in my face though but she'll sleep right on the edge of the chair. It's almost cartoon like watching her balance sometimes

Mine are not lap cats but this winter boy cat has started sitting on DH - not on his lap but on his chest. He just climbs up there and settles down. He likes to pat DH's face with his paw at the same time.

Mine sleeps on top of me...

shouldwestayorshouldwego Bottom in face is exactly what mine does 😡 if I’m sleeping and he wants me to wake up he sits in me! If that doesn’t work he walks all over me for a while.
If THAT doesn’t work he stamps on me for a bit and head buts me. If THAT doesn’t work he lays down next to my face (lovely) and starts ‘shouting’ at me... he has on occasion been known to go as far as licking my face- that one is guaranteed to get a reaction 😡. Stupid cat .... I wouldn’t change him for the world though,

What's personal space? he wants to be as close to me as possible, preferably with me kissing his head and bear hugging him while he drools on me

Phineas will only lie on me when I'm flat on my back in bed. We have to have these cuddles every night now or he shouts and whinges at me Piper likes to sit in any position that puts her bum hole right in my face, lovely kitten she is!!

My Daph loves a cuddle and a belly rub. The other one I can only touch when she’s asleep. However neither of them let me sleep alone, especially since I got my electric blanket they here me click it on and not snuggle in with each other. Not with me. They are inseparable. Here they are right now we are all in bed.

I was off with a migraine, the girl cat jumped on to the bed, on to me, turned round and then backed up until she was sitting on my cheek

Boy cats favourite trick to get me out of bed is to get on the headboard (an ottoman bed so it's like a shelf) and jump from there on to my stomach, all 4.8kgs of him and he just does circuits until I get up (or die of internal injuries!!)

We have personal space issues.
The tabby likes to sit on you but if you touch her she will growl bite you.
The kitten has zero boundaries, shes always clambering over my like shes trying to snuggle inside me skin. She loves a belly rub and will slide my hands onto her belly and meow until you rub

My old cat (sadly deceased) would sit on me at all times. So If I happened to sit down longer than a microsecond, she'd be on my lap. In bed, she liked to sleep on my head mainly (as a kitten she wrapped herself under my chin like a scarf). She's the clingiest cat i've ever known.
My current boys will settle at the end of the bed and love a belly rub but its the female who loves to sit on a lap (not quite as bad as my old cat though). They all come to the toilet with me although only in the morning when they want feeding.
