You know when you sometimes just look at your cat and think 'you are just gorgeous'. Well I've just looked across at one of my boys who is in his usual place on DH's knee and I've had one of those moments 😀

Well here's my recently adopted ragdoll, Lottie. She's been with me almost four weeks and is basically a little sweetie but with a naughty streak, like deciding to kill my Babyliss Big Hair.

Definitely adopt - my gingers are both rescue boys.

"Hes just so gorgeous".

He certainly is.

Adopt. Fatty and Snorg are rescues. There are specific breed rescues if you look around.

Oh, Sirius, what a sweetheart!

Aww he's gorgeous! He looks very like my now deceased old monster boy Paddy

Ok I'll look into adopting them. I'd like a tabby or ginger 😍.

I was once looking after a cat for my friend, it was a black and white one, it was a year old and it was running around the house like crazy, I didn't like that it scared my DC. I put it down to being a kitten, I still want a young cat so it can grow up with my DC. At what age do they stop running around the house? 😆.

They don’t stop running about IME. My cat is about 4 (a rescue, we’ve had her since she was about 2 and a half) and still zooms about tearing from one end of the house to another. My mum’s cat is 12 and still has a mad dash around the place, although only once every couple of days now.
They don’t do it constantly but will often have a mad half hour a few times per day. Once you’re used to it it’s not scary. My cat is a gentle soul but needs to get her energy out tearing about for a bit.

Well I'm afraid to tell you this but my ginger boys are 6 and spend a good hour early in the morning charging around the house! They also like to claw my hallway carpet as they know that makes me get up 😡 so will shortly be changing to wooden flooring. They usually start around 6am when they want me to give them their breakfast which I don't appreciate when it's the weekend!
