My sister asked me to have her cats for a mo th while she regimes them due to housing issues.... this was 2 years ago and I still have them.

I have had my own cats for years and have no issues at all with them toileting wise, but one of sisters cats is the laziest bloody pansy I have ever met. It at the point where I am going to re home him soon.

Unless the sun is shining outside and the ground is dry, he hates going outside! No problems outside, we have a decent sized garden surrounded by field and the canal, the other cats don’t have any issues. He just doesn’t want to get his paws wet.

We have a cat flap so they can come and go as they please, but no. This lazy git will walk past the cat flap and into the utility room and bathroom just to pee on everything!!! He has not taken to peeing on the landing as he can’t be asked to come downstairs.

Oh and it’s not just pee, there is the occasional colossal turd thrown in as well!!

I refuse to have a litter tray as then the other 2 will start using it and become just as lazy as him! Plus I am 30wks pregnant and shouldn’t be dealing with cat mess, but even if I could I can hardly I get down there to do so!

What can I do?! I have locked them all outside today as I stood in pee at 5am this morning! Angry

Sorry, you either get a litter tray or rehome. This cat clearly doesn't feel comfortable or safe toileting outside. Many don't. It's really not that big a deal!

I cannot believe you a calling the cat a "lazy git" for not wanting to go outside when they're clearly not comfortable/feeling stressed. Poor cat Sad

It's very cold just now for them to be outside for a long time so don't lock them out. Get a litter tray, you can use rubber gloves and a scraper and won't come in direct contact with the poo. And cats should be inside at night so a litter tray is essential
