our youngest cat now points her paw at the food cupboard when she wants a pouch. The family were sceptical but witnessed her tonight.

Tell me about your clever cats

Is there a G&T thread for kitties??!! My 10 week old kitty wheedled my cashmere scarf off me to sit on and points to packets of wet food when he's had enough of the dry.

That is super cute Joan.

GrabbyMcGrabby · 21/11/2017 00:12

noni your cats know you need them!

GrabbyMcGrabby · 21/11/2017 00:14

Anyone wanting to toilet train their cats could look at Litter Quitter kits. Wish I hadn't chucked ours now.

That's awesome Joan, kitty lifts Grin
I'm not toilet training Madam Grabby, don't want cat ass where my ass sits Grin Madam lets me know when she feels her tray needs cleaning. Which is basically all the time except for the 2 seconds when I have just cleaned it, before she uses it. Copiously.
Grabby your kitten needs to go to cat grammar school Grin
noni Madam is totally not suddenly super cuddly since the weather got cold. Not at all Hmm

Broken11Girl · 21/11/2017 04:16

Madam knows her name. She justdoesn't respond unless it pleases her Grin
Anyone else have about 10 names for their cat? Madam goes by actual name and various diminutives of it, plus several affectionate endearments...plus a few terms of abuse such as twat when she is being one Grin she knows exactly what I'm saying to her 90% of the time.
Oh and yy pp whose cat chooses food from a menu...I do that sometimes, but only sometimes bc the little fecker darling would only eat fish if she had her way, which isn't healthy. She will eat chicken and other meat...when I'm not looking. When I am she wails piteously like a starving street kitty.
I think I want a dim cat Envy not really Smile
