Thought I'd show off pics of my gorgeous girl to work colleagues today and all I got were funny looks. I adopted her back in the summer and I think she's absolutely bloody gorgeous! What do you guys think?

I think they gave me funny looks Dances because they're not cat people, or any sort of animal people actually strange lot

As per my user name you can probably tell I love cats. I used to work p/t then volunteer at a cat rescue on my day off. When people at work found out I was doing this on my day off they'd go to great lengths to explain to me why theve never been a cat person and "oh don't you hate it when they x,y and z" Erm no, I think they are beautiful and clever creatures. Some people just don't get it. She is beautiful!! I say this as someone who has a child, I still prefer people's pet photos.

I also have children ifcats, pet photos all the way!

I didn't dislike them but I was more a dog person. Then I met a Birman
Basically cats trailed after me for years, climbed in my living room window, and insisted on being carried by me. I gave in and adopted a lovely oddball cat and in the words of the rescue "we don't give refunds on weirdo black cats" so I'm lumbered with him
