We picked her up yesterday. She's already got us under her spell.

She's stunning and she knows it, and she really needs a feisty feminist name.

Unfortunately she came to us already called ... Choo Choo!

Shamelessly marking for more pictures.
Also choo choo?! Shock

Annieshop · 06/11/2017 20:20

Vanity Bonfire - it would suit her perfectly Smile

Tabitha!

Some really great names here.

Now DD has suggested Hestia, Goddess of the hearth. Apparently "every meal began and ended with an offering to Hestia" which I think she'd be happy with Smile

I still like Ada Lovelace though

Choo Choo is one of Top Cat's buddies. I'd call her Calico. Cally as a nickname.

Weedsnseeds1 · 06/11/2017 21:12

Emmeline

Katanna · 06/11/2017 21:13

Cleopatra, Cleo for short

Toddlerteaplease · 06/11/2017 21:18

Ada Hestia Lovelace is a lovely Name.

keepingbees · 06/11/2017 21:24

Tallulah

InternetHoopJumper · 06/11/2017 21:59

How about Christabel or Emmeline?

MrsHathaway · 06/11/2017 23:11

Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth is an excellent cat name. Not very third wave but very apt.

StillMedusa · 06/11/2017 23:20

Mine all have Shakespearian names... Portia, Oberon and Ophelia.
Previous was Morpheus...greek god of dreams.
With her ginger bits she could be Titania... tho calling 'come in Tit!' might be awkward Grin

RamblinRosie · 07/11/2017 00:43

She looks like my Kiri, very vocal, her full name was Kiri te Canopener.

washingmachinefastwash · 07/11/2017 00:51

Doris

AcrossthePond55 · 07/11/2017 02:09

Calpurrrnia.

oldlaundbooth · 07/11/2017 02:12

Brioche.
Caramel.
Sophia.

TheDonald · 07/11/2017 08:04

We think we will go with Hestia, Goddess of the hearth! She spends half her time up the chimney so it seems apt. Grin

I think that is a good choice. It suits her!

dingit · 07/11/2017 09:16

Lola

YetAnotherSpartacus · 07/11/2017 10:25

Hesitant is lovely. I was going to suggest Flora (McDonald) ... But boss lady for a nickname.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 07/11/2017 12:05

Hestia. Fucking autocorrect needs to learn some Greek.

cozietoesie · 07/11/2017 14:22

I actually think her original name is nearly right. She’s not a Choo though, she’s more of a Chou. Smile

MrsHathaway · 07/11/2017 18:25

Fucking autocorrect needs to learn some [Ancient] Greek.

Only on Mumsnet.

This thread is bloody lovely. So many of my favourite things in one place.
