Giving eye drops. Tell me to woman up!

Snorg apparently has conjunctivitis. I’m not entirely convinced but sure the vet knows better than I do. She’s got eye ointment twice daily for five days. She’s as good as gold but it clearly stings her and I feel really terrible for giving it too her. I know it’s for her own good but someone have me a grip!

We don't hand eye drops freely and you must have been worried to take her in the first place.
Even when you put anaesthetic drops in cats eyes they blink like you hurt them, it is just what they do.

I took her for a routine health check. Didn’t have any particular concerns. The vet noticed her ‘eye snot’ was creamy coloured. But she doesn’t have no other symptoms. I have no problem giving them to children at work!
