Im going to have a look at some bengal cross kittens tommorow. The mum says theyre ready to go as theyre eating properly, but theyre not very good with the litter tray yet. Do you think thats because of their age or maybe because of their breed? Would leaving it a week or two be better? I dont want to risk losing the kitten to someone else.

Ive never had such a young kitten before. Ive always gone for older kittens or adult cats. How much of a difference does a week or two make in reality?

I’ve got 14 week old Bengal cross kittens . I’ve had them for 3 weeks and collected them at 11 weeks . They are amazing!

@Branleuse they are gorgeous! Have fun with them 😺

@Bluelonerose not sure if you’ve read the thread but Bran has collected these kittens and organised all of those things!

I think it’s too young too, however I also wanted to share that my 2 BX cats are far from hard work (cat mum was a pedigree) They have been fab with LOs; youngest Dd was only 2 when they arrived. Very friendly, rather dog like in many ways, non bitey/scratchy and not fighters. Both are girls. The only issue I’ve had with one is that she’s such a whuss, she was nervous in a previous house and used to wee on the washing! We reduced the number of open doors to her and used Feliway. It stopped.

They’re certainly beautiful and a joy to have, most of the time. They are killers though.....no mouse alive within miles!
