They must me 8/9 weeks and all bright eyed and bushy kind of tailed. I’ve rang CP and CN has been so helpful. I’m shocked to be honest. I’ve been advised not to approac them as they are probably feral by now. The lady from CP is snowed under but can come out in a couple of weeks she has to find somewhere for them first. I’m counting five maybe six. All that good German grub mine won’t touch!

Well done! It's great you're looking out for them. I miss fostering kittens so much I'm just not sure i could squeeze it into my life right now.

EachandEveryone · 20/10/2017 23:27

I will miss them when they are gone thats for sure.

How's your little gang doing? I've been thinking of them

EachandEveryone · 23/10/2017 23:49

Alright I think. My friend only counted three out of five yesterday but I’m hoping the other two are hiding.

There were six in the end. All have been take away now by TCN who was fantastic. We will wait and see what happens from here.

pics for you. First pic - the three girls. Second pic - the three boys. And then finally mum and (probably) dad (or maybe brother). The two adults are feral and have been neutered and will be returned soon. The three girls are going for spaying on Thursday. We then hope to foster/home the kittens in pairs. They are a bit feral but should soon tame up with a bit of work.

Thank you for the update and great work!

EachandEveryone · 31/10/2017 18:03

I feel very emotional seeing that I would love to follow their story. Of course I will now be a slave to the mum and query Dad. Thank you so much

I've just noticed that dad is certainly related to at least four of the kittens as he is polydactyl (he has an extra toe on both front paws) and so do four of the kittens. It makes their paws look enormous.

EachandEveryone · 31/10/2017 18:29

Oh my god I love them more!

OP posts:
EachandEveryone · 31/10/2017 18:32

How did that even happen is never seen either of them in my life up until afew months ago

At least he won't be fathering anymore Wink. The polydactyl thing is amazing, I helped do a check on a new arrival at CP who was polydactyl, her paws were fantastic and super fluffy.

thecatneuterer · 04/11/2017 14:16

More photos of the kittens showing their extra toes. Here is one being held by my friend. Four of the six kittens have this genetic mutation (as did Dad).

Two of the boy kittens are now in foster (through MN) and apparently doing well. Two more are going to foster tomorrow (including the boy in the photo) which will leave me with two to find placements for. They are already much calmer than when they arrived.

Each I am fostering two and they are doing so well. It’s a joy to have them. They are a lot less scared of my dc than of me (size maybe?). They are very cuddly.

Littlemissindependent · 04/11/2017 16:36

Would willingly foster the last 2 if there was any way of getting them to me!

thecatneuterer · 04/11/2017 16:47

Where are you Littlemiss?

EachandEveryone · 04/11/2017 17:39

Only thank you so much. I’m having a crap day my dad just died so these photos are really cheering me up. I wish I had the space myself. I saw both mum and dad tonight and they seem fine. I was expecting her to be looking for them but she’s fine.

onlyforthis · 04/11/2017 18:23

Vinorosso74 · 05/11/2017 10:38

Each sorry to hear about your dad and it's so hard being at the other end of the country. My parents are up north too and I worry about getting there swiftly if I need to.
Thank you for the cat and kitten updates, has cheered me up after losing our own on Friday. Further updates will be most appreciated.
