Our latest foster cat is a 3yo female who has lived outside most of her life. The past 8 weeks have been traumatic for her with being very ill, giving birth and then having her kittens removed after two weeks as she was too sick to nurse them.
She has been with us two weeks. She doesn't hiss or bite or spit. She lets you stroke her and rolls over within 30 seconds and her purr is like a pneumatic drill. She loves the humans she has met. She perpetually hides, three days under the stairs, a week under the corner stair (its open plan) and now a week under a chair. We go to her, she doesn't come to us but she meows when we go to bed at night.
What can we do to help her just roam around our house?
