Urgent need of help - cat insurance question

Hi there,

I got ma cat almost 1 year ago, as soon as we were sure he was going to stay with us I contracted an insurance (Petplan).. 3 months after having the cat, I took him to a check up, we were told it was a boy cat and not a girl cat.

My stupid mistake was not to call the insurance and change it..

The cat needs care and it's going to cost 900 pounds, I told the vet to make the claim under his first name when we thought it was a girl..

Do you think it will be alright ? It was an innocent mistake and I'm completely freaking out.

Your vet will need to include all the clinical history which will include the cats sex. I would contact the insurance ASAP and explain hopefully your vet has included this in the clinical notes so it will match up.
