Yay! She's grooming me & miaowing - only took 3 months!

Got two kittens beginning of July. The more timid one (who runs away from me in the day but cuddles closest at night) groomed me briefly last night, and instead of her usual silent miaow, did proper ones just now!

Question - was in the pet shop on the way home and spotted a mat for the litter tray like this.

Are they any good - because they are exactly like Ikea bathmats which are half the price, so i might get a couple?!

Oh this gives me hope. We've had our pair 3 weeks and the boy is already a proper lap cat but the girl won't even let us stroke her. Any tips op?

I am. We will get there. She's cross with me today as I had to pick up her to do her claws as they were unbelievably sharp. she did let me hold her after without getting angry but no purring yet. Will take time I know!

Barbara is a real purr monster when going asleep beside me on the bed but she has never purred yet while I'm holding her. Yours will get there eventually.

Decided to gather all their toys. Because I'm out at work I feel a bit guilty and buy them little things to play with. I swear that half of them are missing though. They're not edible!!!
