Best hoover for cat hair in carpet

Having 2 long haired black cats with cream carpet and a too old hoover means it never looks clean!

Can anyone recommend a new hoover? I have been reading about the Miele Cat & Dog, Gtech AirRam K9 Cordless Pet Vacuum Cleaner and the Dyson Animal.

I really don't want to be disappointed with the one I am spending lots of money on. Also I am a bit worried about the cost of the Miele bags?

Please offer advice!!!

Dyson animal works well here.

I had a Dyson Animal V6 for my long haired black Persians. It kept breaking so the engineer came out and said it couldn't cope with their long hair. Apparently it was tangling round the brush. (Apparently it's only the turbo tool that's the 'animal' bit. Upgraded to the next V6 model, with a fatter brush and had no more problems.

Get any hoover you want. But on top of this use a rubber squeegee on your carpets. You can get them in broom form too. No hoover will get all hair out.

Miele - I have one and it's the best thing I ever bought. Hoovered up a bib and ruined a lino it was so strong (first time using it 😂) fantastic. I was not prepared for how good it would be compared to my old Henry.

I have a Miele cat and dog. I don't buy their own bags though. You can find very cheap generic ones on Amazon etc.

I've had a Dyson with special attachment for pet hair for years and am still very happy with it. I'd like to use it on the little beast herself
