Adopted Fattycat and Snorgmaiden two years ago this week!

Can't believe how they've come on In that time. Both for more confident, especially Snorg since she's been poorly. She's also found her voice and nearby to meow properly! She's less dominated by Fatty. Fatty is much more vocal and they both certainly have me under their paw! It's been a stressful year health wise with both of them, but they have amazed me by bouncing back so quickly. They've made me laugh and they've made me cry but they have improved my life beyond measure. I hope I can give them what they have given me. So proud of my girls.

Happy 2nd anniversary to you all! Am pleased they're happy girls. Here's hoping there's no more health issues. When you post photos I can't get over how fluffy they are!

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 21/08/2017 20:32

Such beautiful ladies. Happy cativersary!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 22/08/2017 10:45

They are so, so, gorgeous. Which one is which in the photos? Is Fatty the one with the 'blunter' face? Who is luckier eh? Them or you ? :)

RubbishMantra · 22/08/2017 11:23

Ooh, how time flies! [Fish Cake] from the boys and me.

Toddlerteaplease · 22/08/2017 14:39

Spartacus. Fatty cat/ Maia is the one with round eyes In the first photo. Snorg/Magic is the one in the second. Not entirely who is in the third one. I think it's Magic! She's got almond shaped eyes. I've just ordered them a tipee for their anniversary.

Oh! I had them the wrong way around!

pinkyredrose · 22/08/2017 14:43

They're absolutely gorgeous!!!!xx

Toddlerteaplease · 22/08/2017 22:49

Omg I've just found out from the lady that rescued them, that they never even had names before they went to rescue. That makes me so so sad. (I would have changed their names as well as I don't particularly like the name Maia. No wonder they took ages to respond to their names.

Happy cativersary! X

RubbishMantra · 24/08/2017 23:27

How often do you use their actual names though Toddler? I like the nicknames you gave them, Snorgs and Fattycat Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 25/08/2017 07:43

I use them unless I'm chatting to my sister as she is the one that came up with the nicknames. She even had collar tags made with Fatty and Snorg on. Their are on my keys as they don't wear collars.

Oh that's so sad, I hate to think of them not having names. They've really fallen on their paws with you.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/08/2017 09:46

They certainly have! Am I evil for preferring Fatty and Snorg to their real names?

Toddlerteaplease · 25/08/2017 10:16

To be honest I think I prefer fatty and Snorg as well. It really upset me when I found out they never had names. I de used that at five years old they probably knew their names so it wasn't worth changing it. Maia is the name of my friend's favourite characters in a book and he paid her adoption fee on the understanding that I kept the name.

I fell on my paws with them too!

kisses and nuzzes to them x. Rescues give so much.

Toddlerteaplease · 25/08/2017 13:51

Yes. They have given me so much. Because of the Facebook post that got me to adopt them, 5 other cats got more as two friends had two cats each, and my parents have one. I've also got so
Much out of helping the rescue by transporting cats for them. I love it. And the lady who runs it is lovely.

Are they sisters? Absolutely gorgeous and i love your rug btw!

Toddlerteaplease · 25/08/2017 15:01

Yes, they are sisters. I was told they had to go together because they were inseparable. Although they do rely on each other, and are very protective if they feel threatened. (At the vet or groomer) they don't particularly like each other. They never sleep together. The rescue were very surprised when I told them that. Apparently they'd sleep intertwined. And when one went to the vets alone the other broke her heart. But now they have me, I suppose they do t need each other for security so much.

I love that last photo! I'll have had my two weirdos a year next month & lost my last cat a year ago tomorrow. Gone really fast and really slow at the same time Confused
