I have just had her brother neutered. Now I am going to have to make an appointment to get her spayed. He only had little incisions. I'm guessing her procedure is going to be more invasive and she will need protection from their rough play with bunny kicks etc.

I haven't made the phone call yet. I am going to have to arrange it within a day or two (or few). When I collect her after the procedure, will he have to be kept away from her for a night, night and day or couple of days.
They have only been apart for the day he had his neutering done and met up again at 4pm. Will her abdomen be very tender?

I just want to know what to set up before I make the call to the vet.

Oh and here is the prospective patient

caoraich · 22/08/2017 22:04

yeah but they're in the arms of the babygrow so the bum and tail pop out the neck hole. Here's a pic from another angle!

Ah a long sleeved vest? I must see if there's anything on you tube I'm not paying £17 on Amazon if I can do it myself.

caoraich · 22/08/2017 22:11

Ours came in a pack of 5 from tesco for about six quid!

EachandEveryone · 24/08/2017 18:16

She's fine but Daphne is really hissing at her

dementedpixie · 24/08/2017 18:22

Maybe she didn't like her fashion sense! Wink

thecatneuterer · 24/08/2017 18:51

We neuter thousands of cats every year. We don't put cones/collars/babygrows on any of them. They are all fine.

EachandEveryone · 24/08/2017 20:14

Yes shes taken her vest off. Shes fine huge area shaved off but u can barely see the incision. Will Daphne love her again?

LapdanceShoeshine · 24/08/2017 20:38

She'll smell like the vet's (& the anaesthetic probably)

I bet Daphne will he fine with her by tomorrow Smile

EachandEveryone · 24/08/2017 21:14

She better be as im off to work tomorrow night

Cailleach1 · 24/08/2017 23:24

She seems happy sniffing away there. Of course Daphne will love her again! What is even better is that it is over. Bet she was hungry when she came home. She looks like a fine girl.

We are in bed daphne is giving her the cold shoulder she's been really growling at her. Do they have any memory of going to the vets can't she empathise with her?!!!
