Zzzzzzzz mummy is best to sleep on.

Also she must not be allowed to the loo unsupervised...

WetsTheFinger · 19/08/2017 23:55

Phineas is sulking as I've had to put his collar with the bell back on to give the mice a head start! He brought in 3 in the last hour, all lovingly presented to my eldest daughter who has just got home from uni and travelling. It is sweet that he is so thrilled to see her, but she would prefer less rodenty gifts HmmGrin

This was Ern a few moments ago...still looking for the butterflies...do they leave scent ?

Well, he has finally made it over the fence. Went to find him last night, searched the house and garden high and low (he has a hidey hole in the house I've not discovered yet) and was nowhere to be seen. I was worried if he got over the house directly at the back, he get to the road as they have a gappy gate...and dont think he could scale a 6 ft fence.

We set off with treats, a carrier and torch only for him to appear on the drive. He must of gone over the fence to the side and back down onto the stone wall and into next doors garden..Still at least he knows how to get home and came (eventually) after calling

'Relaxed' ??? GrinGrinGrin

(That sort of ......relaxation will get you 12 months on a charge where I live. Wink)

My neighbour has just left a note telling me not to feed the stray asbits attracting too many other cats and there's arwtoo scared to go out. There's get thrown out every night until the morning. It's such a shame.

SabineUndine · 20/08/2017 21:10

I've shut my boy out off the sitting room because I've got a takeaway and he wants some. Basically, he prefers just about anything to cat food.

Ollivander84 · 21/08/2017 10:18

Well this isn't my cat Hmm

My usual standoffish cat has decided to be a lap cat. I think it because I need to go out soon!

I've just got dressed into my black smart suit to go to an interview, and Boycat has decided that he wants cuddles. He walked up to me, gave a very faint creaking noise (his version of a meow) to say "look at me", and jumped on to the sofa in his favorite cuddle spot.

I really can't go to an interview covered in cat hair, so I just stroked him and walked away without sitting down. He gave me the most pathetic look I think I've ever seen from a cat - including DSis's when he was ill.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 21/08/2017 13:52

Loving Ollie's zoomies and Ernie's challenges and successes and all the other wonderful pussy cats.

Each - what are you going to do? That poor cat needs food and eventual capture :(

Ollivander84 · 21/08/2017 14:03

Not my cat is asleep on the windowsill while Ollie is asleep on the bed. This is his mate now apparently Hmm

Not my cat looks beautiful and healthy. Do you know if s/he has a slave?

Ollivander84 · 21/08/2017 14:07

Belongs to a neighbour. It's demanded pets, knocked everything over with its big clumsy paws and sampled Ollies food Confused
Ollie is just sat looking mildly bemused but not particularly bothered

YetAnotherSpartacus · 21/08/2017 14:19

How sweet! I wonder what Ollie gets up to in other people's houses? :)

Ollivander84 · 21/08/2017 14:23

According to my neighbour he likes to sneak up silently behind her and then slink out again Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 21/08/2017 14:27

That's one you know about :)

WetsTheFinger · 22/08/2017 13:36

Woken up last night by the sound of Phineas chomping away on a rodent of some kind. Bone crunching and slurping and everything Envy

cozietoesie · 22/08/2017 13:42

Did he clear everything up for this morning? Smile

inaclearingstandsaboxer · 22/08/2017 13:45

Funny how I am still watching these threads...

It's now been two months since 22yr old Pusscat passed away and it's still a bit raw.
We have sorted out the shed and had to do 'something' about her stuff.
We are giving away the leftover food, tray, bowls and carrier to a local cat charity.

But we still have her old iams tin... it's nearly as old as she was. She would only eat from her bowl if it was next to her...Hmm
DH looked at it and said 'oooh handy tin for my bits of shit'

I suggested he might feel a bit choked when using it... his eyes filled up and he agreed

It's going to the tip

Still hurting....

cozietoesie · 22/08/2017 13:53

Nearly time for a new puss, inaclearing? Smile

YetAnotherSpartacus · 22/08/2017 13:58

Keep the tin. Just put it somewhere where you won't have to see it all the time. Then, one day, it will be warm memories, not painful ones.
