@dementedpixie the littler two are probably about 6 weeks now, and Eminem must be about 9 weeks.

It's lovely seeing them get healthy and friendly and playful.

caoraich · 19/09/2017 21:25

Ahhh TheCatOfAthenry they are just lovely aren't they!

Maisie finally goes for her op on Friday and DP and dad are going to build the catio this weekend. Quite excited, I have ordered wood, mesh fencing and fancy wood paint. DP thinks the wood paint is OTT and the cats won't care if it's a nice duck egg blue....

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/09/2017 21:28

Men are such spoilsports with things like this.

caoraich · 19/09/2017 22:06

On the plus side my dad wants to build a "nice two-level effect with a little cat path between" area for them to perch on

I'm not sure if he is being serious or making a niche monty python joke but I think it's a great idea! Grin

Kibobear · 20/09/2017 09:15

The catio sounds amazing!

EachandEveryone · 20/09/2017 14:36

Is it a kit or are they just clever? Sounds fantastic.

caoraich · 20/09/2017 15:12

Nope just wood and mesh. DP says it will be like a large and fancy chicken coop!

Kits were well over 1k online but this will cost us under £200 for wood, nails and the mesh stuff. Plus it means I can grow veggies without the bloody hedgehogs digging them up!

Sybil has decided that windows are for sitting on (just as well she doesn't weigh much).

Sybil has the right idea!

My cat-hating friend came round last night and they both hid Sad

Maisies op is tomorrow but I think I'll have to fast both of them - Freya will bring Maisie dry food if I try and feed her separately!

Ollivander84 · 21/09/2017 13:45

Ollie is having a squishy cuddle

Well it's raining, he's been towelled off once and is now snoozing...

Speaking of which...I bought him this towel in Aldi the other week. It's like a huge pair of oven gloves and he loves it

Basil can't be bothered by a squishy cuddle at the moment.

....the demise of someone?

Kibobear · 22/09/2017 06:57

I want that look so I can express appropriate disdain.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/09/2017 07:05

My new slippers are evil & must be destroyed. I think it's the Pom-poms he objects to most, having none of his own.

My rescue cat seems to be much younger than the place said he was, also he is supposed to be castrated and I've just noticed he def doesn't look like it.
Do castrated cats look different? He def seems to have two balls, could these just be empty skin? Or has the shelter got it wrong? He's never had his willy out though but then I've never noticed his other bits before either!
