Picked up new fosters this morning. Mama is the sweetest and most friendly cat I could ever imagine.

Kitten is seven days old. Eyes not yet open. Lost it's sibling sadly but seems to be doing well.

Now that is just the picture of contentment Smile It has brought a smile to my face.

Beautiful. That last picture is so lovely.

My, the mother is a stunning young cat.
I have three BSH girls or I'd snap them up.
Sure they'll find a fab home soon, and great of it could be together.

Good on you too btw 😊👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

They are both gorgeous! We got our two boys last year from a cat foster mum last year. She had an IG page and I loved getting to see pics of them every day until they were old enough to be adopted. Fostering is wonderful!

Eyes open today! At least partially... could not get pic as dark eyes on black cat!

Mama getting a bit bored so more toys on the way. Kitten still quite immobile but sure she will be chasing mama about soon enough!

What a beautiful mummy.

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 25/07/2017 22:12

Bless her, she seems comfortable bring a mum despite her age.
how long do you foster them for?

GingerHanna · 26/07/2017 05:42

Here we are... eyes open! Not moving much yet, not having to worry about tripping over tiny feline today. Grin

I'll keep the kitten until she is 12/13 weeks and hopefully she'll have a home then. Mama will then get neutered and also rehomed.

Hopefully they'll get homes quickly as I'm expecting our first LO in October/November!

Ginger - can't they go together? My local cat home only lets cats go together especially mum and baby.

GingerHanna · 26/07/2017 16:44

It entirely depends on the new owner(s) and their existing family. We won't rehome the kitten alone, but if there is already a young cat in the family we would rehome there. Or if the new owner was also getting another kitten.

It may be we find someone who wants to adopt the two together, but it won't be a prerequisite.

They are so beautiful. I hope they find good humans to take them on. Even better if they can stay together.
