Can anyone in the Barnsley area give a home to my friends cat??

My friend has been offered a job where she'll be travelling a lot, possibly overseas and having weeks away from home at a time. She's desperately trying to rehome her cat Bella without her going into a rescue, all the ones up here have waiting lists and are over full anyway. Bellas a 2 year old Siamese BSH cross who's loveable and cuddly, she's a proper lapcat. She's lovely with kids and other cats but hasn't met a dog properly yet though I'm sure once she's used to a dog they'll be fine. She hasn't been neutered but she's up to date with all her fleaing and worming. Friend has tried multiple sites on Facebook (don't approve but it was worth a try) and has asked as many people she knows as she can. Please help if you can, my friend is absolutely heart broken, she either chooses to stay with her cat or takes the job she's been working towards for years. Sad

Has she got time to get her spayed before she goes? I think knowing they've got to get that sorted asap would put people off tbh.

She didn't but a lovely lady came to pick her up earlier!! Said she'll get her spayed/chipped/vaccinated asap 😁😁

How can she get to two and not be spayed did your friend give the lady the money to do it?

She wasn't vaccinated either? Sounds like the cat has fallen on her feet, so that's good.

She was vaccinated just due her annual booster shot... and my friend didn't see the point in getting her spayed when she was a house cat, personally don't agree with it but that's not my decision to make

She was lucky to find a genuine person so quickly.

She was, the woman was a friend of a friend so she said she'll keep her updated which was nice
