So I have definitely decided to keep two of my foster kittens and I need help on how to introduce them to the Royal highnesses that already reside in our house.
Currently they have 7 cats living in their spare room and haven't noticed. Or rather they are pretending not to notice like a wife who's husband has a second family in Poland but who pretends not to know to herself because she doesn't want to shatter her illusion of having the perfect family. They know, but they don't want to know.
So how do we introduce them properly?
We've been bringing the chosen kittens down to watch tv with us in the evening and our cats look at them in disgust but then go back to sleep. However if we try to put the kittens on the floor our cats hiss at them, not in a 'im going to kill you' way, more in a 'you utterly repulse me' way.
Are we doomed to have cats that we can never put down, or does anyone have any tips for making our resident demi-gods look favourably on the new arrivals?
