Gosh it's so bright I'm having trouble sleeping today. Unlike some....

Papergirl1968 · 03/07/2017 14:08

Pigeon flew into the window pane and then flew off, presumably nursing a headache.
Dcat jumped out of his skin, and then must have thought it was dd's new gold high heeled wedge sandals on the floor under the window that had made the noise. He warily approached them and hissed at them before plucking up the courage to stick out a paw and touch them. Apparently satisfied they were just shoes and not capable of independent movement, he then went to sleep!

caoraich · 03/07/2017 15:16

Sleepy times after their journey home. So glad to have them back.
They don't give a toss about the home inprovements though!!

Oh they'll have noticed them all right. Looks as if they had a positive response though. Smile

EachandEveryone · 03/07/2017 17:38

Ollivander84 · 03/07/2017 17:54

Ollivander me thinks Ollie likes. I guess you wouldn't attempt a photo of Stable cat eating? That could be an entire still feathered chicken......

Ollivander84 · 03/07/2017 21:24

If it was stable cat I wouldn't be offering it with my hand Grin you just fling it from a safe distance. Also, the roast chicken would have been clawed off me as I stepped through the door

cozietoesie · 03/07/2017 21:28

Achh. The Lodger would sort her out. Three gins and I bet she's anybody's. Grin

Ollivander84 · 03/07/2017 21:29

It's probably a good job nobody nearby keeps chickens to be honest HmmGrin that would be a light midday snack

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 03/07/2017 21:31

You'll note that the original (naval) saying is 'Two gins and she's anybody's'. I upped it to three gins in honour of Stablecat. Wink

Ollivander84 · 03/07/2017 21:37

Given the paracetamol saga you might need to up it to a bottle Grin

She's completely ignored the old boy from next door since she got her sister. I should be grateful she's not following him anymore or going into next doors flat

How is he taking it? (Or seeming to.)

Want2beme · 04/07/2017 10:20

He's a gentle old soul the neighbours tell me he's stone deaf but I've given up hinting he shouldn't be out really. I suppose he's too old to change and lock up now. You see the railings I've got some cat net should I use it or just hope that Dolly is as sensible as Daphne? She will be kept indoors til Winter so I have time to think about it. Daphne is a home girl I have a feeling this one will be more of a roamer she's a proper London kid.

Dolly reacted really badly to Applepaws I thought it would be quite gentle.

Ollivander84 · 04/07/2017 14:49

Stable cat, stable cat. Doing what a stable cat does Grin

I don't know quite what she's expecting to be done - but I'd just do it anyway. Grin

Ollivander84 · 04/07/2017 15:00

She wants to be carried Hmm because precious princess cat doesn't need to walk when there are humans to climb

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 04/07/2017 15:09

Just carry her then. The alternative is too awful to contemplate! Smile

Ollivander84 · 04/07/2017 15:11

She's asleep on the dog bed now, silence at last!

I'm rather proud of my thieving cat Theo. He's now been clean for about six weeks, and has resisted visiting his favourite house to bring back gifts. Last offering was Zippy toy, rightfully returned to number 42. Looks so innocent in photo... looks can be deceiving...

Just making sure there's nothing too dodgy going on in the garages downstairs. Funny she's never been tempted to go to the ground level but she does like all the loud Romanian music and chattering from above.
