Boycat is pretending to be a big bad panther lounging in a tree. Of course if anything apart from me or his sister DID happen by, he'd run & hide in a panic Grin

Parmaviolets13 · 07/08/2017 21:14

Albus today won't stop miaowing for food and he's had more than enough! Plus he shook his tail all juddery like they do when they spray. Waaah he's only like 4/5 months I hope he doesn't before he's neutered!

cozietoesie · 07/08/2017 21:38

When does he get his op - because it sounds as if he's practising. Grin

cozietoesie · 07/08/2017 21:39

They should really have the op at 4 months, health and weight being otherwise fine.

Parmaviolets13 · 07/08/2017 21:51

19th sept! Maybe I should ring tomorrow and ask if they'll bring it forward. :( il put a reminder on my phone! Gah.

cozietoesie · 07/08/2017 22:24

Might be a good idea. Smile

cozietoesie · 07/08/2017 22:25

Here is the ICC guidance on the topic.

Many vets and owners have 'six months' imprinted on their minds, I fear. My own personal experience is that Oneago's litter brother sired a litter with a young female at his breeder's house, to her apparent consternation. He was 5 months old at the time.

EachandEveryone · 08/08/2017 00:48

Omg!! How old was the mother?

cozietoesie · 08/08/2017 00:49

8 or 9 months if I recall.

Ollivander84 · 08/08/2017 10:15

I was shouting Ollie from across the gardens this morning whilst shaking treats. Black cat comes running. Not Ollie Blush
Sat there looking very cute at me but still, not the cat I wanted Grin

Abroad at the moment (and both of us missing his Highness more than DH would care to admit, although from the reports from that cat sitter about the killing field that our hallway has become, I'm not missing that part) so we are having to make do with ForeignCat and her brood.

Every time DH ventures onto our balcony, he gives me an update as to what they're all doing (but he's not interested, oh no).

I snapped this after the 5 littlies had suckled themselves to sleep Smile

cozietoesie · 08/08/2017 15:07

Poor Mom. They're not so littley! Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2017 15:11

Their almost full sized cats.

Your Dh sounds totally detached from them.

cozietoesie · 08/08/2017 15:12

I'm guessing that they're after the liquid. Is it hot and dry there?

LemonRedwood · 08/08/2017 15:12

I know! I thought that they were looking at least 3, maybe 4 months! Housekeeping put food out for them (I don't think they're supposed to!) so they've built themselves a lovely little home here.

Mum does have a vague hint of "Help me!" in her eyes though.

cozietoesie · 08/08/2017 15:13

I'd try prevailing on Housekeeping to put down a dish of water?

LemonRedwood · 08/08/2017 15:15

Yes, hot and dry, but housekeeping staff are keeping them fed and watered. They're hiding in some shrubbery which gets watered every 2-3 days so are all drinking plenty out of the resultant puddles too.

We're just a bit too far away for any kind of stroking or nuzzling but the 2 young girls in the apartment below have already become very attached!

Drinaballerina · 08/08/2017 16:58

Not broken (phew). Vet thinks probably a bite. Cat is now hiding in disgust at being taken to the vet

cozietoesie · 08/08/2017 17:03

Ollivander84 · 08/08/2017 17:17

Olllie is doing zoomies whilst screeching about the weather, other cats and the state of Brexit or something, I'm watching TV
