Miss H is perfecting the art of ed slleping

Kibobear · 07/08/2017 11:04

*bed sleeping. Not sure who Ed is but she'd probably make friends Grin

EachandEveryone · 07/08/2017 11:59

Dolly is cute you say? She is a blinking handful it's just happened over night wanting strokes one minute and getting destroying my flat the next

She shall henceforth be known as Dolly the Destroyer.

Biscuit meows like he's been wounded when we leave the room but ignores us when we return. It's amusing.

I also found a picture of me with my first cat.

You look a little surprised at your own daring. (In stroking.) Smile

TheCatOfAthenry · 07/08/2017 13:09

Nah, I have massive, massive eyes so surprise looks a lot more concerning and that's more my "Hmm, Jolly Jumper is fuzzier than my other friends" face. Grin

Anyone read 'My cat likes to hide in boxes'?

I think Sybil has.

OMG that MANE!

Vinorosso74 · 07/08/2017 18:22

Vinocat is home from the cattery. She proved a challenge for the cattery staff and vets with her diabetes going haywire!

Oldraver · 07/08/2017 18:25

I'll try and find the best Ernie v box photo

Ollie has been out since I got home. He came sprinting in to use his litter tray then sprinted back out Confused

Think one of my kitties has broken his tail. It's hanging very sadly and he's very subdued. Vets trip tomorrow methinks!

EachandEveryone · 07/08/2017 18:46

Aw what do they do for that?
Those cats in boxes are hysterical what gorgeous cats you all have. Was Sybil the rescue cat?

Vinorosso74 · 07/08/2017 18:52

I love the cats in boxes book! The cat from Norway got stuck in the doorway, the cat from France liked to sing and dance and so on. DD used to do the actions when she was younger.

cozietoesie · 07/08/2017 18:54

I'm hard pressed to choose between those two pictures. Smile

caoraich · 07/08/2017 18:58

So Freya seems totally back to normal this evening - bouncing, head bumps and eating her tea

But now both she AND maisie are yowling at the top of their voices in between being their normal selves. They usually have no issues with the foxes and just watch the squirrels judgily so I don't think it's anything outside.

Freya has been spayed but maisie hasn't yet

What's going on!?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 07/08/2017 19:01

EachandEveryone Yes we got Sybil and her brother Basil from Battersea as kittens 6 years ago. Sybil has always been obsessed with boxes - she discovered this one last night and has been in it ever since. It really is too small for her when curled up but she clearly doesn't care. Smile

TheCatOfAthenry · 07/08/2017 19:02

@caoraich I think my tiny little Biscuit is... dare I say it... horny these days. Blush

He's my innocent little baby and there he is being all provocative and mounting Cookie.

In fairness, she will happily lick his (soon to be surgically disabled) scrotum.

Is your baby possibly going through similar?

caoraich · 07/08/2017 19:13

Argh TheCatofAthenry and she's infecting Freya with her Laydee Hormonez!?

Perhaps it's Maisie I'll take to the vet Grin

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 07/08/2017 19:16

Sybil last Christmas

Ds and ds1 spent last weekend exchanging bedrooms. It involved a lot of full bin bags I haven't yet taken to the top but have dumped in the garage to sort. This is now Colin's favourite place. Weirdo

TheCatOfAthenry · 07/08/2017 19:43

It's a possibility, caoraich.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats what kind of cat is Sybil? She looks very distinguished!

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/08/2017 19:52

Drina

I think a broken tail would need treatment tonight, it must be incredibly painful for her.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 07/08/2017 20:00

TheCatOfAthenry Sybil is purebred moggy Grin(mother was a very pretty black dlh)
