How are you doing?

Jamon · 01/08/2017 16:59

So poorly! Full of cold and fully blocked ears, woke up with terrible earache at 6am and was practically in tears. DH had to dose me up with night nurse and a hot water bottle. Properly pathetic! Cat came and helpfully laid on my legs in bed to show moral support. Got very upset tummy to boot Hmm well and truly crook!

cozietoesie · 01/08/2017 17:01

Poor you. Sad

Cats like it when you're hot and lying down though. Grin

EachandEveryone · 02/08/2017 01:41

There's something going around I was exactly the same two weeks ago

EachandEveryone · 02/08/2017 09:58

They're having their breakfast I'm debating whether to lock them out of my bedroom or not. I've done my weekly litter change and of course they both shat in a box each as soon as I'd done it. I love watching them eat I'm counting the weeks down when I can get them both on the same food!

Kenworthington · 02/08/2017 13:01

Colin has so far moved from one side of the bed to the other. Exhausting. Now he seems to be having. Some exciting arm twitching dream

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERNIE!

Explain the mouse to me?

Oldraver · 02/08/2017 14:58

It's a Dreamies mouse (Ern will now tolerate Dreamies and even Aldi's copy, at one time he would only have the pure chicken pieces).

It's like a Weeble, you put treats or food in and they are supposed to work for it.

At the moment he just looks at his Dad and he kicks it, dispensing a treat. Ernie isnt very bright so we will see

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/08/2017 15:04

Oh well. He seemed to quite like the wrapping paper, so even if he's not Einstein at least he's a Real Cat.

I followed a kitty craft website for a little friend once. it showed how to make a treat box from a tissue box. Unfortunately, he got his head stuck and ran into a wall. I gave up after that. That really wasn't how it worked on the accompanying video which looked like an advert for kitty OT and showed kitty deftly retrieving the treat from the box much like a human does an old-fashioned Chinese puzzle.

Ollivander84 · 02/08/2017 15:07

Ollie is about to be shut outside for 9hrs Blush
He won't come in, he keeps running off from me and I have to go to work so can't leave the window open. ARGH

Mine never did work out how to use that mouse. I tread on it daily. Love the hello kitty paper.

Oldraver · 02/08/2017 15:30

Oh for Ernie the wrapping paper was probably the best bit...he loves ripping up paper...he's not fussed if it's presents under the tree of mail come though the door.

The kitty craft made mt laugh...Ern loved tissue boxes, any box and would definitely head but the wall

Is Ollie punishing you for something ?

cozietoesie · 02/08/2017 15:32

Ernie doesn't seem ........terribly bright, I'm afraid. Smile

Ollivander84 · 02/08/2017 15:33

Possibly for when he wouldn't come in yesterday and I had to pick him up to come in. If I go near him he goes "oweee oweee" and runs off. So the consequence is he's now outside until 1am and its forecast to pour down SadSad

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/08/2017 15:37

Oh dear. I'm going to worry about him now :(. Silly boy.

Ollivander84 · 02/08/2017 15:39

I'm consoling myself with he can shelter in the neighbours porch and it's not dark until late and he was a street cat

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/08/2017 15:40

This is true. He does have the street smarts...

Ollivander84 · 02/08/2017 15:43

I'll still worry. Hopefully it will teach him he needs to come in when I call him! Bloody cats

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/08/2017 15:46

He's a gorgeous naughty boy. I hope that he learns his lesson and behaves in future!

Oldraver · 02/08/2017 16:25

Yes Ernie is not bright at all...

He used to do the running off when I wanted him in had to spray him once or twice...then he got left out all night a couple of weeks ago...boy was he glad to see us in the morning. OH says he has been hotfooting it in when he goes to bed in the mornings for a while now.

Do ya reckon this means he will be grateful after he has been in the cattery ?

cozietoesie · 02/08/2017 16:28

Anything is possible with Ernie. Grin

Ollivander84 · 02/08/2017 18:39

I'm a wimp. I think I'm going home on my lunch to let him in BlushBlush

Ollivander84 · 02/08/2017 19:13
