Yes I text to remind her the thing is that u have to almost slam them it's all about being used to your own house isn't it?

The cats are fine anyway and I know they'll be asleep now. I've hidden stashes of dry food and water so they will be ok if they have to be.

cozietoesie · 28/07/2017 19:43

Maybe she didn't realise that when you said 'almost slam' you meant 'ALMOST SLAM'. People can be more tentative in other people's property. Smile

EachandEveryone · 28/07/2017 23:10

Now my lodger has text to ask how to work the tabcat as daphne has gone missing. Urgh! ive told him sit and watch tv she goes out every night at this time and is back by midnight but no hes insisting on going looking for her which of course she will completely ignore.

EachandEveryone · 28/07/2017 23:16

And just as i typed that he text back to say she walked in just as he put batteries into the tabcat. Phew i had visions of me going home tomorrow instead of Monday! They will turn me grey! Shall i tell him to ignore her begging to go out until i get back?

cozietoesie · 29/07/2017 00:01

It rather sounds as if your lodger is the one who'll turn you gray? Wink

EachandEveryone · 29/07/2017 11:20

Bless him his only 17 here for the summer he's a gentle soul it takes him ten minutes to pick Daphne up its painful to watch and that girl loves to be carried like a baby. He said he might let her out tonight she would've pleaded with him as long as he doesn't go to bed like the last lodger remember when she had just had the op!

Catsitter sent me a video and she said she will leave a note for the cleaner telling her what she must do tomorrow I'm not complaining!

I'm going clubbing tonight for the first time in 15 years so I need to go and get some serious beauty treatments done! Hope you all have a good weekend x

cozietoesie · 29/07/2017 11:30

Have a good one, Each. Smile

Goodness. If I was given that look, I'd leave sharpish. Grin

Ollivander84 · 29/07/2017 14:12

It's very much a "yes? Hooman?" Look!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 29/07/2017 14:39

And Ollie's look is very much a 'see what I have to put up with?' look.

Ollivander84 · 29/07/2017 14:40

Shock he was dreaming drooling away on me Grin

I had a terrible dream last night that mine had both turned to ghosts. Pure white. Im glad im going home today!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 31/07/2017 10:41

Is Ollie a polydactyl? are we all doomed?

Ollivander84 · 31/07/2017 10:50

I'm not actually sure. It was mentioned months ago by someone but I've looked and looked and can't see!! But he does that with his paw a lot so he looks like he has thumbs

Daphne loves her present I think I should move it away from the cat nip though as she couldn't wait to get outside and get stoned. Has anyone got any bright ideas on how to rescue my wall????

Ollivander84 my black cat also does that thing with his paws so it looks like he has thumbs. He's also partial to lifting one paw up whilst doing it so it often looks like he's swearing at me!

He caught a frog today (only the third thing he's caught in the four months I've had him) - he proudly appeared over the fence with it in his mouth and dropped it in the garden. I thought it was a leaf at first as that's what he usually brings me as a present until the 'leaf' started hopping away! Cat looked very unimpressed as he watched me encourage his 'gift' under the fence in one direction whilst he was sent in another. Luckily he soon loses interest in his prey and is easily distracted. Frog appeared to be unharmed and so does the cat although he was licking his lips for a while so I was watching him like a hawk. Are frogs/ toads toxic to cats or do they just irritate their mouths?

Ollivander84 · 31/07/2017 18:49

I counted his toes while he did a WTF are you doing face at me and they are all normal Grin
