We will not be making a habit of it!

EachandEveryone · 21/07/2017 08:05

I finally let her out at 630 am so I could lie in. Next doorscats were in the doorstep so she wouldn't go out. Why does this stop her? Normally she's not bothered by them. I don't want any turf wars

EachandEveryone · 21/07/2017 08:08

I've just caught her giving her sister a "gentle" pat.

@Ski37 definitely claws. It was more that he decided he had to IMMEDIATELY jump on the couch and I was between him and the top of it.

Been there with the dreamies.

This is the two having catty fun thereafter.

@EachandEveryone I love your cats so much!

Problem is, Each, you don't know what was going on last night in their world - smells, noises etc etc. They could have been very unsettled.

I'd just try to go with their normal routine as best you can.

ElizaDontlittle · 21/07/2017 10:01

My legs especially are properly covered in scratches - if I try and shave I pull all the scabs off and it's a complete bloodbath. I trimmed babycat's claws about 4 weeks ago, think it's time for a repeat when he's nice and chilled (ha!).
He doesn't draw blood when he bites me - which is usually when he gets overexcited or jealous, but he is gnawing things lately - like scratch pads and chair legs - could he be teething? Do they teeth at this age? (15wks)
I love this picture of him I took yesterday - must weight him again, he's nearly as long as crazycat now.

Allergictoironing · 21/07/2017 10:28

I have more pin pricks just above my knees. I can pick up Girlcat & sit her on my knees, then after a while she decides to jump down & pushes off with her back legs; cue little claw punctures from over-long back claws.

They definitely need doing, but it takes at least 3 hands - one to hold her firmly, one to hold the relevant paw, one to wield the clippers. I know some people will say you can hold the cat and the paw with one hand together, but she wriggles so to get away I just can't manage. Hoping my DSis & nephew will be able to come & give me a hand this weekend.

If I was Ernie I'd be more concerned about who coloured in my face with a Sharpie :)

Joke - he's gorgeous and I LOVE that tail!

Oldraver · 21/07/2017 12:59

OH often jokes he will get a Sharpie and even up his face Grin

Yes his tail is gorgeous and soft...it reaches right down to the ground..the longest one I've had on a cat

cozietoesie · 21/07/2017 13:26

I surely wouldn't like to get in the way of his back legs. He's gorgeous. Smile

Ollivander84 · 21/07/2017 13:40

Ollie is adamant we must stay in bed for cuddles as it's too windy outside for cats

I'm sharing the couch with my 2 while waiting on a telephone consultation with the GP. Supposed to be between 2 and 6pm so I'm getting a bit bored and pissed off now

cozietoesie · 21/07/2017 18:05

Did the GP make the tiny window that was left?

dementedpixie · 21/07/2017 18:06

No, so I'm even more annoyed now Angry

dementedpixie · 21/07/2017 18:07

They have changed position though

cozietoesie · 21/07/2017 18:10

Well it's horrible wet stuff outside and Mum didnt jump to it and towel me off.

So I'll just snuggle up and dry on her cushions...

Cats still catting Part 4
Fluffycloudland77 · 21/07/2017 20:38

Dh does the drying here, paws included.

They both seem to enjoy it.

Vinorosso74 · 21/07/2017 23:18

I'm sitting in the bath giving you evils as I know you're taking me to the cattery tomorrow

We are blatantly disobeying the "no cats on the countertops" rule
