If it'll let you Grin

Pucinni yawned this morning and I noticed a huge black mark on the roof of his mouth.

Is that normal?

Oddly I clean his teeth at least 4x a week but never noticed the black mark!

Yes, my tortoiseshell / calico type cat has it too - scared me to death the first time I noticed it

She's also got a black fanjo vulva which is especially obvious as all the surrounding fur is white. It's really, really noticeable to the point where kids ask questions ... I keep telling her to keep her tail down, but she doesn't seem to understand Blush Wink

This was when her jaw was subluxated. No way will she open her mouth for me!

Papergirl1968 · 21/06/2017 21:24

Nope, just an enormous pink mouth!

PuffinCat has black freckles on the roof of her mouth - one of the superawesome things about her! Smile.

She's b/w btw.

It's normal. Especially in black or black and white cats. Mine has a spotty pallet and black gums.
He also has black whiskers, which is quite unusual I think as even darker coloured cats seem to have white whiskers more often than not?

Weedsnseeds1 · 22/06/2017 14:12

Looks like a black bit just behind his front teeth ollivander

Cookie certainly does! It makes her look like she always has a half smile. I love her so much!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/06/2017 17:11
