There seems to be loads of us on here saying we've just got kittens. How have the settled in? Mines been here ten days and I'm so bad I've only just let her out of her safe room. I think I was hanging on to my space for as long as possible. This is her she's 12 weeks and is 1.3 her fur makes her look much bigger! Dolly.

They're all gorgeous but Barry has my heart! Grin

ElizaDontlittle · 01/07/2017 11:30

strawberry I'd have her in a heartbeat! Bet she and Toby would get on like a house on fire.

No neutering til 6m at my vets - so October. Keeping him in til then will be the challenge. He's grown like a weed - he needs his next worming, thanks for the reminder Each

Yes Daph needs hers today the little one in two weeks the vet washes her with it. Oh can't you have her whilst yours is still young?!

Then I would be well on the way to crazy cat lady status - like you I bet that gorgeous fluff ball already has a home! My vet suggested fortnightly normal wormer stuff until 12 weeks - so much variability, I guess there are lots of right ways to do it.

We all go to medivet and every single one of us gets told different things. Are you doing a scheme?

This is Chewie, he is 13 weeks old (we've had him since 8 weeks) and he is already a part of the family. Smile

You can email them at [email protected] or send a message via their social media.
I'm still dead chuffed you got one of our cats (granted I only saw her once)!

stumblymonkeyagain · 03/07/2017 19:03

Uh-oh...I have kitten envy and already have four cats. The last two are only 11 months old.

Must. Not. Become. A. Cat. Hoarder.

EachandEveryone · 03/07/2017 19:14

No you mustn't they are so demanding and they will spend all your money and all they do is lol around and expect presents

Sorry Each - no, not a scheme - they didn't mention it tho I picked up a leaflet in the waiting room. It might be cheaper... do you have to take them to the vets more? As the bus is a bit of a struggle and crazycat always vomits in the carrier.

EachandEveryone · 03/07/2017 20:05

It's £14 a month well they have an extra check up at six months but I never bothered as she got spayed at six months it includes all the treatments and their vaccines and 10percebt off everything else I thought it was worth it the first year my vet says it's worth carrying on after that I'm not sure

EachandEveryone · 03/07/2017 20:05

Did you try covering the carrier with a dark sheet?

Evening all!
This is Kaaro - we got him aged 10 or 11 weeks, about 6 weeks ago. He is so lovely and affectionate, and has settled in really well. He is particularly fond of my 5 year old, and goes to sleep on his bed in the evening. He is tolerant of the two year old!

She's 5 months now. She's 'not allowed' on the table but it was ridiculously hot that day and apart from the bath it was the only cool spot she could find.

That's a good idea - didn't work with the miaowy kitten but might with crazycat who is particularly unhappy and like I say, always vomits - I have learnt not to feed her but she is very reproach ful!

Love that the kitten sleeps with your 5yo Tea - they will have such a close relationship as they both grow.

Such lovely cats we do have on this board - I learn so much here too!

This is my new lion cub Rufus! He's a Somali age 13 weeks and is unbelievably snuggly. He's living in the bedroom at the moment but the others know there's something going on......

Rufous is absolutely stunning! And Stella - is she a ragdoll? She looks very chilled!
