Please help us name our new cat!

So yesterday this little floof came from the rescue centre to live with us. He is very very shy but beautiful and we have no idea what to name him. Any suggestions?

Thank you for all your suggestions. We have finally decided on Herbert for when he's feeling formal and Herbie for when he's feeling slightly more frivolous. He's coming out of his furry little shell a lot more now and gaining confidence all the time.

That's a lovely name! Our little guy was quite a shy, scared boy and it took him a while to find his feet. He's very relaxed now!
