They're not instant cute like gingers and not mysterious and overlooked like black cats, but they're awesome! I have attached a pic of PuffinCat. Every time I see a black and white cat I smile

My black and white cat, Puffin, is called Puffin :)

This is Blaze, having a squdge on my legs, now that he can't really balance himself on my baby bump. I'm hoping he will cope ok when the new arrival comes, he's used to being the pampered centre of attention.

This is our Charlie Chaplin lookalike. He may be black and white but he's not silent!

Pirate PuffinCat was named Bella in her previous adopted home, but we use mostly nicknames the name CPL gave her. When she went over the fence the little kids next door immediately dubbed her CowCat

Ah, they are the best cats! We have 2, known as the 'tuxedo terrors'. Both rescues who were abandoned and spent time on the streets 🙁 Please meet Gizmo (loves his PS4!) and Billy (only 2 and missing front teeth from being kicked 🙁)

This is my girl. She is fussy, moody, refuses cuddles, bites, bullies and basically thinks she is the boss. But she is so pretty and I luffs her!!

The overlooked bit is awful. I have two friends who's just adopted a pair of beautiful B&W sisters from a rescue though, and the four of them couldn't be happier

I had no idea black and white cats were overlooked. I wonder why that is?
I knew black cats were. Does it make anyone specifically choose a black or b/w cat when adopting? I love an undercat

Worwax I love an undercat too I definitely picked the least likely one to be picked. 10 years old, big, scarred face, chewed up ear, b/w..... the rescue volunteers nearly fainted when I picked him

It doesn't even enter my head what colour a cat is. Sure, I love tuxedos, torties, gingers, and tabbies but a cat's a cat to me and whichever one needs a home, I'll give it, if I can.

Forgot to say, I do have another black cat, and a white one as well as my tuxedo. They are great!

They are all beautiful. It's hard to believe black and white cats struggle to be rehomed. What's not to love.

Olinguito your cat is the image of my old girl Bluebell, she is getting on a bit now and sometimes forgets it isn't very nice to sink her fangs in your hand but I love her

My black and white cutie

Here's Tom, the friendliest cat I've ever met. He spent months in a cat rescue, which was surprising seeing that he would practically throw himself at visitors hoping for a cuddle! I find it hard to imagine people choose cats purely based on colour, but based on Tom's experience I think there may be some truth to that.
