I'm well on my way to cat servitude aren't I?

Spent most of the afternoon cleaning and getting the house 'in order' for our kittens arrival tomorrow. Especially our bedroom, as that's where his bed etc will be to start with (and no doubt he will claim the room as his own in no time).

I feel like I'm nesting all over againBlush

Will be sure to post obligatory pictures tomorrow.

Ummm, you may find it's not just the room. "His" bed is likely to prove unsatisfactory and "your" bed will become the ideal substitute. You have been warned....

ElizaDontlittle · 21/05/2017 20:06

Yes, I have a king size cat bed, in which I am also allowed to sleep. Sometimes I'm even allowed my own pillow Grin

susurration · 21/05/2017 20:10

He won't just claim the room, you will be living in HIS house.

DeleteOrDecay · 21/05/2017 20:16

Amazing repliesGrin I love cats and grew up with them, but have never had my own as an adult. More than happy to let him take over the entire house.

Just as well, because that's exactly what he will do!Smile

Theaspidistraiswilting · 21/05/2017 20:36

My husband sternly announced that the cat was not going to be allowed on the bed when we went to get our kitten. He had clearly never had a cat before. Cat sleeps on his pillow curled round his head and gently flicks his nose all night with her tail. He loves the cat.

Want2beme · 22/05/2017 14:52

DeleteOrDecay very exciting. Wishing you lots of fun!

One of mine hollered at me last night for having the audacity to turn over in his king size bed.

Your new overlord looks gorgeous. Enjoy your fabulous servitude. Hooray for black and white, tuxie and black cats!

Weedsnseeds1 · 22/05/2017 18:08

What a sweetheart. You will be under his power, with resistance impossible....

IHaveBrilloHair · 22/05/2017 18:10

Ooooh, squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, baby kitten.
I neeeed one.

bobbybaby2017 · 22/05/2017 18:25

My two indoor cats totally run the house. We went shopping for a new sofa at the weekend and discounted a few as the cats would find them comfortable!

We have no kids so they totally get talked to like children.

You're new kitten is gorgeous, you'll have so much fun with him

Want2beme · 22/05/2017 20:20

He's gorgeous. You can see he's plotting already..........

Toddlerteaplease · 22/05/2017 21:25

Bobby. So glad it's not just me. I held off getting a new sofa because Snorg had her own armchair with her bed on and I couldn't bear for her to loose it. I also had to choose one that Fatty would be able to sit on the back of. My Lovely sofa has a cat bed on either end. And the rest of my lounge is dominated by a cat tree, cat babygym, and another basket. But at least I can say that they are all used.

iloveeverykindofcat · 23/05/2017 17:11

He looks so intelligent, too. A little pixie.
