What's the excess on your insurance?

I'm looking at different policies at the moment as the excess on all so far is higher than anything I've paid my vet so far for any 0ne treatment (€150).

I'm not in the UK (in Ireland) so was wondering what the situation is over in the U.K. - is it the same?

Mine is £120 plus 20% of the treatment costs - its high because of his age. I'd never claimed before last year but even though the excess seems high it was better than paying the full £3k!

That does seem high for a young cat. I have said to Harry that if he had to break his jaw, couldn't he have done it before he was 10 so I had a lower excess!
