Ours does that, we call it a walk through. When is she back?.

MsHooliesCardigan · 20/03/2017 10:06

Fluffy She's not back until Saturday so we've still got a lot more moping to put up with.

LanaorAna1 · 20/03/2017 11:55

Succeeding with elan, I feel.

Mr C likes being with/on me all the time now, I think it's middle age. Early mornings in the house are peaceful bar the helpless shrieks from the bathroom as he springs onto my lap as I'm trying to sit on the loo.

He's worked out how to trap me in the kitchen.

EachandEveryone · 20/03/2017 12:26

My girls got d and v yet again. Its every 4/5 weeks and always afew days after coming back from the cattery. I try and kerp her grain free i dont know what to do about it. In my bedroom as well as the builders are still here

Mine has been absolutely vile since yesterday. She's a grumpy sod when it comes to the dog doing anything having a life. So lots of spitting, hissing, hitting of the paws/nose. The poor sod is terrified she hissed at me a good few times earlier when I told her no. This happens everytime.i take him a walk and she can't see him Hmm

We moved house recently and today was Bruce's first day allowed in the garden.

Gorgeous boy. The kitchens nearly finished and she's finally been allowed in she's straight on the table having a good look around to see if it meets her approval thank god she seems to have not been too unsettled by it all

Mine has been shut out of the living room much to her disgust

But she keeps going through the door of the princess castle Dd is playing with and pouncing on her hand. Quite nasty too. I know she just wants to play. But she can go cool down

EachandEveryone · 23/03/2017 20:11

Mine had a strop because i went to bed after a 12 hour night shift and pulled my art work down. My finger still hasnt stopped bleeding.

The first real sunshine of the year and Seniorboy found it. I'm glad because I didn't think he'd make it to another set of rays.

Have been letting my two kittens out in the garden recently but now one of them has started climbing the fence and I'm scared he will disappear over the other side. It is very stressful as they aren't neutered yet or microchipped (vet says they won't do it until 6 months and mine aren't quite 5 months yet). Might have to try a different one to see if they will do it earlier. They then sat in the bath for a wee while watching water come through the shower hose that connects to the bath taps.

The bigger one can now jump into the worktops so keep having to go get him down again. Cats are irritating!

dementedpixie · 25/03/2017 13:34

My two in the garden managing to avoid falling in the pond (again!)

cozietoesie · 25/03/2017 13:35

My own vet will neuter at 4 months, demented, which is the generally recommended timing, weight and health being fine. I'd maybe try another one? (Some vets and owners are still 'stuck' on the old 6 months thing.) It certainly sounds as if it's needed - can't you keep them in until they have the ops and their chips?

dementedpixie · 25/03/2017 13:38

They yowl at the door to be let out and try to scrabble through the windows. I go out with them to distract them and play with them

cozietoesie · 25/03/2017 13:41

I'd look for another vet then. You have no idea when the hormones might start coursing - if, indeed, they haven't already started. And then it might be 'Over the hills and far away'........

cozietoesie · 25/03/2017 13:42

Here is a link to some pretty authoritative guidance on neutering.

dementedpixie · 25/03/2017 18:06

I think I will phone another nearby (ish) vet as they offer neutering from 4 months and could probably do the microchip at the same time. Do your cats all wear collars too as I don't have them either?

cozietoesie · 25/03/2017 18:12

I've never had a cat that would tolerate one. Some cats do, though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/03/2017 18:14

Mine lost collars, or took them off, so I gave up. Even snap ones can strangle them.

LanaorAna1 · 25/03/2017 21:40

Keep smilin' Seniorboy!!!!

Such a glorious pic of the beautiful boy catching rays - the perfect, nay iconic, image of the start of spring.

F Mr C won't have a collar.

ElizaDontlittle · 26/03/2017 20:37

What an elegant cat cozie
Your kittens are gorgeous pixie but I'd put up with the scratching until they are snipped and chipped really - the alternative is just a bit worrying.
I have given up on collars and also given up on stopping crazycat jumping on the worktops, I just clean them down prior to use and assume she'll have been up there. I'm out half the time and she won't be doing as she's told then.
Sunbathing has featured here, along with companionable snuggling!

cozietoesie · 26/03/2017 22:20

I like the 'e' word. Smile (An unkind person might say scrawny but he's my beautiful elegant boy still. Rules us all with an imperious yet gentle touch. Wink) Sadly, the rug he's on has never recovered from a couple of 'accidents' where cleaning it robbed it of colour but as long as he's here to use it.............
