So I've bought his Tesco value cider. Naturally enough as I was walking home Amazon man rocked up in the street and I was obliged to make the last 300 yards in full view of my smart neighbours clutching tramp cider, Marboro red and a very large bag of so-called catnip.

We've had the catnip break in already, and the frenzied rolling and yowling. Where do I hide it? and his drink?

He is very, very purry. Fluffy tummy has been offered twice since I sat down. I am worried.

I was once bollocked by a food stylist because the prawns supplied were "not photogenic enough"!!!!

RubbishMantra · 15/12/2016 19:29

WeedCat has a positively Elizabethan ruff. It's like a separate entity! And Grin Photogenic Prawns! I may have to steal that as a username.

L, I suspect Little M didn't win because he doesn't quite look like a cat, and MCat is a B&W. Glossy and photogenic, but a B&W all the same. Cat racism?

Also L, what you were saying about food being covered in glycerin. My local Thai restaurant has plasticised dishes in the window, then covered with cling film! A friend thought they were actual food, so would never eat there. Their food is actually delicious, and 20 steps away from my front door. I assume the plastic fare window dressing is covered in clingy to avoid dusting the pesky nooks and crannies between the plastic prawns.

The Felix cat is black and white though? There is a street in Tokyo of shops that just sell fixtures for restaurants. There are several that specialise in plastic food. Nearly all restaurants there display their menu in this way.

The stylist curled their feelers and took bits of other prawns to create a "frankenprawn" that was allegedly more attractive than a standard prawn!

That's a prawn cracker of a tale, Weeds.

You just can't deal with this sort of subject without piscine puns. Silly shellfish stylist, I nearly pulled a mussel laffing.
