On edge of seat...

Sparklingbrook · 10/12/2016 11:43

cozietoesie · 10/12/2016 13:25

Well they're quite safe from the sound of it. Bright cats. Smile

CinnasStarTribute · 10/12/2016 13:31

Sorry my original op was much mor descriptive and witty... christmas tree lights which ive had to carefully remove around the ornaments. they murdered the hampster the other week. absolute menaces!

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 10/12/2016 13:32

Christmas lights are usually 12v. John Lewis lights are reduced now.

CinnasStarTribute · 10/12/2016 13:37

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 10/12/2016 13:41

It's their Xmas present! You don't begrudge them it, surely? Grin

alltoomuchrightnow · 10/12/2016 13:43

Mine's just puked up all over his scratch post and a pile of books. Which I am now expected to clear up. With one arm. My non dominant arm (broke my shoulder). The furry git.

cozietoesie · 10/12/2016 13:54

Well of course you are! What else do you think you were put on this earth for? Grin

(But I hope the break mends soon. Smile)

Wolfiefan · 10/12/2016 13:58

Murdered the hamster? Really? How on earth did they get to it. Poor little thing.

cozietoesie · 10/12/2016 14:09

Yes. That gave me pause.

Toddlerteaplease · 10/12/2016 17:51

Mine are in the doghouse because my best friend came round and he's never met them. Lives a long way away. And the usually sociable little buggers hid under the bed. I desperately wanted him to meet them. Xmas Confused

Weedsnseeds1 · 10/12/2016 18:00

Toddler They're scuffing up their posh new hairstyles on the underside of the bed. They'll finally emerge to meet your friend looking like a pair of poster children for the RSPCA. "These two abused persians lived under a bed for 6 months, surviving only on woodlice, spiders and the condensation they licked from the walls....."

Toddlerteaplease · 10/12/2016 18:16

Ha ha that made me laugh out loud! To be fair I never get visitors and had another two in the time he was here so they probably would have come out had the others not come to collect their frozen veg/leather armchair.

GriefLeavesItsMark · 10/12/2016 18:32

Fucking grief cat has been ignoring me until I sit down to read the paper, then he plonks his furry little arse on whatever I am reading then refuses to move.

CinnasStarTribute · 10/12/2016 19:30

The hampster was a really sad affair. Really sweet little fella he was too. basically he was moved from a normal 'boring' cage to a rotastak tubes tunnels space pod contraption.. this seemed to peak cats interest.. so he was moved up high and room closed off when we were not around. all was well. we then went away over night and cat feeder left door open. cats knocked off cage.. poor sod managed to hide but died of shock the next day. It was awful. we have now said no more prey pets because the cats are actually evil.

Lanaorana1 · 10/12/2016 19:43

Bad luck, eh, OP. At least they didn't pee on them :)

So sorry about your poor little hamster. RIP Hammy. Prob better not to ask for another small furry for Xmas.

cozietoesie · 10/12/2016 19:44

Sad - but not their fault.

Has the cat feeder taken it to heart?

QuestionableMouse · 10/12/2016 19:47

There is no P in hamster.
