We have two cats. One is 7, a very tiny female. The other is 15 months, a very large male. They are friendly some of the time but the younger cat tries to play with the older one all the time and this is ending in rough housing more and more often although they have never injured each other. Female is much more agile than male and for a while managed to escape him by sitting on the top of the boiler cupboard, but the male has just realised he can jump up there too.
I was thinking that maybe we could buy the female one of those beds on a pole so that she could remove herself further from him. Would that work? Or does anyone have any other ideas?
