Am sure this has happened to many people but looking for some positive tales of returning wanderers please.

Our 9 year old male Burmese/Bengal X has been out for around 24 hours now and the worry and panic is starting to set in (hence why this is being typed at 3.47am....

We last saw him early hours of yesterday (I remember waking and seeing him on the end of our bed) and while he has been gone for daylight hours before he has always returned. He is spayed and microchipped and I have been out calling him with no luck. He normally checks in for a cuddle and something to eat a couple of times a day and sleeps inside at night.

I am trying to just think that the pouring rain means he has sought shelter somewhere but a part of me is worried it is more than that.

This is him, Phillip and his sister Winnie.

Have you rung the vets in the area? Is his chip details up to date?.

lalaear · 13/11/2016 07:37

Yes, his chip details are up to date and he is wearing a collar with his name/our contact details on it.
Will ring the vets in the area in the morning as they will not reopen until then.
Have just been out for another look and a shake of the cat treats but still
no sign.

Has your area got a Facebook spotted page? I see lost cats on ours.
