Not alive. Feel so bad for her. She texted me the other night to ask if I had seen her recently. Coming out of the house today, I saw her lying under a bush. She was such a lovely cat

Poor woman. You did a brave (if hard) thing, though, in telling her. If you read many posts here - and I can also say it from personal experience - not knowing what has happened to a dear cat is much worse than knowing and having the body.

Well done for telling her.

I've had cats, one which got run over. It would've been much worse if I had not have known what happened to him. Just wish I could have phoned with good news rather than bad.
