Yay, persuaded dm (me and Ds live with her) to let us get a puddy cat 😁 He's 10 weeks old and soooo cute 😍

How is he settling in?

He's mr kitty paws and he's settled in great, we've had him since Monday but not had internet until today 😁 And yes time he definitely knows he's the boss, he has fleas so he's not allowed up stairs til they've gone and carpets etc have been treated... But his favourite game is to run up them and play cute 😂 Really happy he's eating like he's never been fed in his life and we've not had any accidents 😊

He's so lovely! I adopted a ginger and white girl this week, she is about 1 but she's tiny! She was rescued with 7 kittens (only some hers - the other mother had been killed) and she's been poorly, and it feels great knowing she's got a loving home with us forever now and someone to look after her.

What are you using for the fleas? I only ask as frontline doesn't work on lots of cats now as we found out after an infestation (our vet doesn't have it anymore) and Bob Martin is rubbish.

Oh my goodness...I am yearning for a ginger kitten/young cat. At the moment I am putting it off as my other 2 Lulu(5) and Honey (2) are just about getting on & I don't want to spoil their dynamic...

Like Snake said, Bob Martin doesn't work, and can also kill cats, there was a very sad thread this week on this board about it this week. Best get some advice from your vet for flea treatment. You can ask your vet about that when he has his check up and first lot of vaccinations.

For treating the fleas in the house, Indorex is very good, and can be bought from Amazon at about half the price from your vets.

Yes I red that thread about Bob Martin :( dm's friend works at local pet shop/ groomers so were armed with industrial grade flea shampoo that kills fleas on contact... Poor little sods gunna hate us, he's not been allowed upstairs and he's been talced because it supposedly kills fleas and he was treated with spot on that didn't even work :( bathing a cat is not something I ever want to do again... I'm going to be shredded 😫 Oh well he'll be flea free and a lot happier ☺️

He's sort of like a fudge colour rather than ginger, no doubt he'll be the biggest ginger Tom by the time he's grown up though lol

He was the last to be sold from a small litter so I'm really happy we managed to get him, the girl was going to give him to a friend of a relative who she doesn't know but she decided to give him to us as she knows us 😊 Just wish she hadn't lied and said he'd been treated for fleas 😡
