What do I need to ask about cats advertised for rehoming?

They are five months and 19 months. I don't mind doing/ paying for things that they will need but what are the things I should be asking about? I've been waiting for slightly older ones as that seemed fairer with primary aged children (although apparently these are used to children).

Are they pregnant? Have just seen someone on book face trying to rehome their pregnant cat. Wants £10 so they know she is really wanted.

Pretty much everything said already, ask if they have been exposed to children and how they reacted. Ask if you can take something that smells of you in so they can get used to your scent. Ask about things carers have noticed that they really well and respond well to.

They're being rehomed as the person they're with is an unofficial cat rescue and rehomer- they feel that as new kittens/ cats come in these 2 are finding it increasingly unsettling. They have been wanting these 2 to go together as they are best pals which has meant less interest as people only wanting one. They sleep together and by all reports are very close (not related but the younger one came as a very small kitten). No health issues. Younger one not spayed but booked in for next month. They live with kids at the moment, owner says happy to be petted/ relaxed around kids. Use the litter tray well. Have outside access but tend to potter round the garden, don't currently go far. Older one is female, hasn't had any litters.

I'm beyond excited at the idea they might come and live here!!! Does it all sound okay?

You never know until you get them. I'm a softy so I'd be buying a carrier for each and stocking up on food.
